Pine Valley

We spent Memorial day weekend in Pine Valley. It was a lot of fun. On Saturday we went for a ride up through the canyon to see the new campgrounds they are making.
We managed to fill the front completely full and then fit everybody else in the back. It was a tight squeeze but we had a fun ride.

When we got up to Whipple trail we decided to walk up it a little ways. We stopped to have my dad tell us a story about the last grizzly bear that was in the area. It was clear back in the early 1900's when my grandma was a little girl. She remembers seeing it in the back of a wagon after they had killed it. Ady now thinks that there are bears in Pine Valley and was a little nervous!
It was a fun drive and it's always fun to be with family. I love it in Pine Valley and always look forward to my summers when we get to spend a lot of time up there.

Maybe we could have a little "A-team" reunion in Pine Valley this summer??! The kids and I will be there in a couple of weeks.
