Ben's brother got married on Friday and the next day was the St. George marathon. Ben had 6 people in his family running the marathon including himself. As soon as the wedding was over we headed up the road to get ourselves ready for the next day. We always stay at the cabin and then I drop Ben off at the start line and head down the road. This year I left the babies at the cabin with my mom.
On the way up we stopped at the start line. This was the 35th St. George marathon which happened to fall on Ben's 35th birthday.
One of our good friends came with a group friends to stay at the cabin with us. These are our San Diego friends who were running also.
Dropping our runners off at the start line. It wasn't as cold as it is a lot of years but it was still a little chilly (59 degrees).
Jamie's husband and daughter hung out with us as we waited for the runners. We got some breakfast and then headed out to the curb to watch for our runners. The girls had fun sitting on top of the car to watch:)
After we saw our runners in Veyo we headed back home to see them finish the race and meet up with Ben's family. The girls holding their signs and waiting for daddy (yes...Emma is holding her sign upside down in both pictures that I took)!
Livvy, Tayler, Emma, Ady, & AbbyWaiting for our other runners to come in. We had a few more friends come to help us cheer them in!
Ryan (brother), Emily & Nick (sister in law/brother), Marci & Bret (sister/brother in law), Jeff & Sara (cousins), Ryan, Todd & Cheri (all coworkers), Jamie (friend). These are a few of our family/friends who ran the race. Ben's brother Ryan is the speedy one in the family (that is why the picture is blurred). Way to go runners! You are all amazing!
