Last weekend we wanted to do something fun as a family. We attempted Friday night and by the time we got to a little pumpkin patch it was closed and it was only 7:30. We headed home trying to think of something to do and decided we would just go on a walk. When we got home all 4 kids were asleep. We put the big girls straight to bed, got the babies ready for bed, and then decided to watch a movie (this rarely happens at our house). On Saturday we decided to try again but just start earlier. We started the morning by going to a parade.

The girls waiting for the parade to start. They got a ton of candy...once again!
Later we headed back to the pumpkin patch.
Teeter totter time! Ady had to jump extra hard to make it much of a ride since she weighs more than Emma.
Ady riding the train all by herself (this was a pretty big deal...she doesn't like to do anything by herself but Emma wouldn't ride it with her. After much contemplation she finally she decided that she could do it). She was quite pleased with herself! We had such a fun day. When we got back we decided to try the walk again and had fun doing that also. Saturday was a perfect day with the kids. The girls played so well together the whole day and I really just enjoyed doing things together.

Reading your blog makes me so happy! Your children are super cute. Love the purple dresses for your girls at the wedding. And I think your girls playing outside in crazy garb is totally appropriate on Sunday!
