On New Year's Eve we decided to take Ady to some of the festivities at First Night. She had a great time playing in the bounce houses and hanging out with her mom and dad.

Our cute picture with my eyes closed! I don't know why but I always blink right when the camera goes off!We hung out for about an hour and then we went back to the Neumann's (where Emma was) and hung out and played games for a little while.
The Jets were performing at First Night so we decided to go back and listen to them bring in the New Year. It was fun and a flash back for us. The Jets were my very first concert that I ever went to (back when I was in Elementary school) and one of Ben's first concerts as well. We listened until 11:50 and then headed home. We sat on our front porch and enjoyed the fireworks at midnight.
On the 2nd we decided to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather with the rest of the town. It seemed like everybody was out playing in the sun. We just went up on top of the Red Hill and hiked around for a while.
The girls had a great time and Emma wanted to do it all by herself. She loved the hiking and once again thought that she was bigger than she actually is:)
Ady and Emma love to be outside any chance they get. Emma always brings me her coat and walks to the door. She was definitely not happy when we started walking back to the car and refused to keep on walking when we got close to it. She just turned around and started walking the other way!
It was a lot of fun and a great way to spend a January day! I love my town this time of year! Here are a couple of pictures from the holidays that I wanted to add. Every year my family does a progressive dinner and we travel around to everybody's house and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat! Basically we spend the night eating. It is a fun chance to get to see each families home and to see some good lights as we are driving around.
This is Emma, Alli, and Ady sitting in the back of Grandma Snow's jeep waiting to go to the next house. We didn't actually let them ride up there but they had fun laughing and waving!
This is the same three girls sporting their new Christmas dresses that Grandma Beckstrom made them. I was hoping to get a decent picture but it was a total joke! This was by FAR the best picture and most of them involve one of them wandering around or Ady trying to do flips!
