San Diego post 1

We just got back from such a fun trip to San Diego.  We stayed at a beach house and just relaxed and had fun.  It was a great trip!  We headed down early Saturday morning hoping that the kids would travel better early in the day.  They did do pretty well but it still isn't the most fun to travel with four kids:)  Ady & Emma started asking if we were there yet when we were only an hour into our 7 hour trip!  But we did only stop one time so that was good.
On Sunday we went to church and the ward we ended up attending was a Spanish speaking branch.  I didn't understand much of what was said but I still enjoyed singing the songs and listening to the talks...although I honestly spend most of my time at church these days trying to keep two one-year olds quieted and contained!
After church we went up to the San Diego LDS Temple.  It is so beautiful.

Ady & Emma loved their new canteens that they got for the trip and were excited to take them everywhere.

The flowers were so pretty.
My favorite view of the temple.
Trying to get a picture of my kids...not always an easy task!
My cute family!  What a blessing to know that our family will all be together forever because of what takes place in the beautiful building behind us.

The kids rolling down the hill on the temple grounds.
They had fun and it was a good way to get some of their energy out!
There was a really and the kids...and some adults had fun racing up it.
After the temple we headed over to La Jolla Cover to see the seals and other wildlife that are there.
It is hard to see them but in the back ground on the rocks are a bunch of seals.
Ben and the kids are looking at the seals in this picture but they are kind of two small to see...about an inch in from the left side:)

We were going to go to a baseball game but by the time we got there we realized that we really didn't want to so we decided to go and see the USS Midway instead.  We just walked around with the kids.  It is pretty amazing at just how big it is!

The girls thought this submarine was pretty cool.
