Halloween

The kids love to go for walks around the Temple..  It is so beautiful outside that we are soaking it up!

They always have to climb up the stairs.

This year instead of carving pumpkins we did the Mr. Potato head pumpkins.  They were really cute and the girls could actually do them.  The only problem was that Sadie & Stockton kept pulling out their arms and eyes:)

For Halloween this year we did a BYU theme.  The girls were all cheerleaders and Stockton was a football player.  I already had most of the stuff so I didn't really have to buy much.  They all turned out looking so cute.  We first were able to dress up for our ward party to give it a practice run.

All of us at the ward party.  Ben and I were BYU fans:) We picked a good day for this because they actually won their football game on that day.
Stockton looked awesome with is shoulder pads in.  They didn't seem to bother him  at all.
The only cheerleading outfit I had to buy was Emma's and it didn't make it in time for our ward party so we improvised.  She was still adorable!
Cute little Ady.  I probably shouldn't call her little anymore because she is getting to be so big!
Sadie was just excited to see the cows!
This year Ady wanted to do the Reflections program at her school and of course we put it off until the last minute (such is my life these days...actually, I have always been a procrastinator). She wanted to do photography so I gave her my camera and let her take as many as she wanted.  She got several cute ones of everybody playing.

Stockton dumping dirt on his head.
Sadie going on an adventure.
This is the picture that Ady decided to enter into her school Reflections contest.  The theme this year was "The Magic of a Moment".  It seemed fitting since this was a magical moment of them getting along:)
Ady obviously didn't take this one.  She is getting so big and was testing out her cousins big bike.  It was all great until she went to get off and couldn't touch the ground.  After crashing a couple of times she was done:)
Emma riding her kind of bike.  For some reason she still doesn't like to ride her big girl bike.
Stockton loved going down the hill in his little car and he couldn't get enough of it.
Ady won 2nd place for her picture.  She was super excited and she even won $10.  Next year she wants to do more than one area.
Sadie and Stockton are terrified of the vacuum but they are both very fascinated with it...especially Stockton.  The other night at Grandma & Grandpa Neumann's Stockton discovered where the vacuum was and he kept running to look at it and then running back out and saying "akum".  Then he would run back again and stare at it for a few seconds and then run back out.  It was pretty funny.  Ben finally decided to get it out and let them try it out for themselves.  Sadie actually held onto it and gave it a push across the rug.
Stockton, however, still didn't like it (but he wanted to keep looking at it).
So a couple of weeks ago Ady showed us that she had a tooth growing in before the baby teeth had fallen out.  We have left it for a few weeks trying to decide what to do and then we finally decided that she needed to have her teeth pulled out since they weren't getting loose.  Thankfully her Uncle is an orthodontist so he gladly pulled her teeth.  She was a bit nervous but did great.  I stood behind the wall peeking at what was going on.  It grosses me out so I didn't want Ady to see my face!
Ady hanging out in my office until my mom could come and pick her up.  She had to bite on some cotton until the bleeding stopped.
Here are Ady's four teeth that she got pulled.  They look so big compared to normal baby teeth but it is because her teeth still had their roots.  The two on the bottom were the two middle ones and you can tell that their roots were starting to dissolve.
Ady showing off her new "toothless" smile (except you can't even tell in this picture)!
We decided to go to Staheli farm and see all of the animals and enjoy the fall festivities.  The kids LOVED all of the animals.
Sadie & Stockton trying to climb into the llama cage.
Ady playing on the big bouncy balloon.
Emma on the tractor swing.
Emma & Stockton on playing on the tractor.
Ben did an under doggy for me and I was going so high.  It was really fun!
Sadie & Stockton enjoying the swings.
Stockton getting mad when he thought that I was coming to take him off of the tractor.
Then he was happy when he realized I was just taking a picture!
Sadie swinging on the tractor swing.

All of us heading over to the pumpkin patch.  Emma wouldn't get in the picture for some reason.

Instead she decided to be in a different family picture with our new friends and their cute triplets who are the same age as Sadie & Stockton.  We were herding kids everywhere we went!

All of the little kids checking out the jack-o-lanterns.  There was a witch in the pumpkin patch and they were all pretty fascinated with her as well.

This boat was a little maze that the kids could wander around in.  They loved trying to work their way through it.  They also loved just playing on the boat.

The kids all had so much fun.  Stockton loved the tractor the most and playing in the dirt.  The girls loved the swings and the boat and the bouncy thing.  It was a lot of fun and the girls asked when we could go again.
On Halloween we dressed up again to go trick or treating.  We went to visit Ben's grandparents and see the cousins in their costumes.

I couldn't believe that Stockton left his hat on the whole night.  He was so good:)
Emma was excited to have her own cheerleading outfit!
Trying to get a picture of the three 1 year olds...pretty much impossible!
Sadie & Taetum.  These two are really cute together!
We had a very fun Halloween.  We had dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Beckstrom and then went trick or treating with some friends from our ward (my camera died). It was nice because the two little girls we went with were SOOO excited about trick or treating that it got my girls much more excited.  My girls are a little timid so I loved seeing the enthusiasm!
Elsie, Macy, Emma & Ady having fun trick or treating!
